VIDEO: Bushra Hyder on Women Moderating Extremism in Pakistan
Living in Pakistan’s most remote and volatile region along the border of Afghanistan—Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK)—Bushra Hyder has experienced first-hand the effects of increasing extremist violence in her homeland. In the midst of this, she has led initiatives to help victims recover from trauma, promote moderation of radical ideologies, and teach values of peace to the next generation.
