Women Work Together to Demand their Rights
In an interview in late February 2012, Alaa Murabit, a member of a delegation of Libyan women to Washington, DC, discusses how working as a collective whole is much stronger than working alone. Ms. Murabit says that creating a sense of unity and respect for the diverse opinions of the women of Libya will allow them to achieve full participation in the reconstruction of her country.
